From Mike: This house is what my family would consider our childhood home. It looks very much like it did back then almost 40 years ago. Same color. The tree that we planted in front is gone. I used to bounce a basketball off that telephone pole when I was little, pretending that it had a hoop on it.
I was born on Winwood Ct. in the Tiorunda projects in Cheektowaga, NY. When I was about 3 years old we moved to a house just around the corner

I have checked out the website that you two have created and I have to tell you that I am deeply moved! I guess being the youngest I don't remember some things, but some things I do remember, sometimes as if it was yesterday. Finding a place to write isn't as easy as it seems.  Take it from someone who has been writing online for over a decade now.  It looks like I'm settling down at 14olcott.net, the story is on the front page.  I belong here because this is my family and my family's history.  I look forward to learning more about my family's history as well as my family's present.  I look forward to sharing my part as well.

I just talk to john my big brother,ha/ha it was good hearing from you its been a while Ilove all of you been quite busy at work and fire hall,I am a new york state certified EMT.and also 1st lieut. and VP of theYorkshire fire dept.I have been doing volunteer work for 3 different fire dept. Pinehill,NorthJava and yorkshire It has been 33 years of service to the community.Well i will be adding things in the fucture.
